How to choose a mattress

• Firmness by sleep position. Side sleepers usually do best with medium to medium-soft for shoulder and hip relief. Back and stomach sleepers often prefer medium-firm to firm.
• Lie down for real. Spend at least 10 to 15 minutes on your top choices, in the position you actually sleep. Bring your partner if you share the bed.
• Size and support. A queen is 60 by 80 inches and a king is 76 by 80. Check whether your bed frame needs a foundation or works with the mattress alone.

Hybrids with coils tend to sleep cooler, which some people like in humid Massachusetts summers. Memory foam isolates motion well for couples. Ask our team to walk you through the differences in person.
